07 Oct 2019 Fall Hair Color Trends
Fall is here. The temperatures in Tennessee may resemble those of the peek of summer, but the attitude of those craving bonfires and cool autumn breezes are looking ahead to when those temperatures will drop and the pumpkin patches will begin to sprout.
With football, hayrides and PSLs come fall hair trends. This fall, the hair trends are leaning toward any shade of red to resemble the variety of fallen leaves, buttery blonde low lights that would make Paula Dean proud and mushroom brown tones like you may find simmering in a crockpot soup on a cool autumn evening.
For the reds, you can’t go wrong with any shade. From strawberry blonde to deep cherry red, red is the ultimate fall color and can be added to any other color to give warmth.
The blonde trends for fall are adding in ginger or buttery lowlights to soften summer blondes, as well as the use of nude blonde gloss to add shine. Trends will lean toward leaving some brightness around the face as an easy way to achieve a different look without a drastic change.
Brunettes will be spotted adding in face framing balayage in mushroom brown or caramel tones while also utilizing warm and cool tone mixtures to give dimension within the overall color.
Just as cooler nights are in the forecast here in Knoxville … so are red tones, buttery highlights, and some mushroom balayage for this fall.
