Color retention varies per person. Various factors such as: sun exposure, skin type, and skin care products can affect retention. A color boost is advisable every 2-5 years to maintain shape.

How long does the service take?

It’s best to set aside at least 3 hours to include anesthesia, mapping, and the procedure.

How soon after initial appointment can I have a touch-up?

We recommend a minimum of 6-8 weeks to allow skin to heal completely before another session.

How long does it take to heal and what is the down time?

There will be some slight swelling and reddening of the skin but should subside shortly after the procedure. Initial healing may take 7-14 days.

Does it hurt?

Most clients claim the feeling is most like scratching a sunburn, but each client is different and will experience discomfort differently.
